Activities at Olšina

Since 1993, when the federation was divided, the State Enterprise Military Forests and Estates of the Czech Republic (further as VLS) has been gradually reducing the number and area of VPPs and allowing the general public to stay there. As a result, the Olšina Resort, which is operated by the VLS in the area of the Boletice Military Unit, has become an attractive place for holidays, corporate and social events.

In the slopes above the Lipno dam, nestled in the virgin nature right on the shore of the highest breeding pond in the Czech Republic is the Olšina Resort. An oasis of peace in a recently forbidden corner of Šumava in the Český Krumlov region, which has long been spared from the intense bustle of civilization.
